WOOD

slideshow Great Knelle Wood is over 100 acres of ancient woodland north east of the equally ancient port of Rye in the county of Sussex, south east England. It is within an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' : the High Weald. The wood is a mixed deciduous wood largely given over to coppice wood mixed with some stately standards.

From this web domain you can find out more about the wood. In recent times it has been divided into smaller parcels so there are several woods within the wood, so to speak.

If you are wondering where the logo came from, the outline of the tree is the outline of the wood as interpreted by Google Maps. The white lines are lines of latitude and longitude.
